Hi all.
Working through the activities in my book, one of them asks to form a question using "ことがある". I'm not really sure if my conjugation (and interpreted meaning) of the phrase is correct, so if someone could confirm or correct for me I'd appreciate it:
テストで0点を取る =
テストで0点を取ったことがありますか。
My guess is this means "Have you ever scored 0 on a test?", though I'm not confident in my guess as とる means "to take" (as far as I know), so it doesn't actually make sense to me how my guess could be the correct translation.
Any clarification would be appreciated. Cheers.
