Can you translate the characters on this plate?

My grandma had this tea saucer and I was wondering if the characters meant anything or if they were just the initials of the company/artist?

I have absolutely no knowledge in this area so please be kind!

Thank you. :)

This post seems to have been overlooked. Can anyone help the poster?

I couldn't find anything. The second one is 甲, but I can't get the first.
松甲
柳甲
or something like that, but my searches came up empty-handed.
If its any help, I do think it is Japanese in origin. It doesn't appear to be one of the main pottery houses (Kutani, or some sort of Satsuma). It would be the name of the location or sort of brand name of the pottery.

Judging from the seal, I think the first kanji could be 枇. I can't find anything either, though.

It may be Chinese i presume. If you google search for 棧甲 pictures (棧 being my unlikely guess for the first character) - you'll get lots of pictures of some bowls and stuff.

That's kind of sad we couldn't provide OP with an accurate answer. I'm not used to seeing such unresolved requests here on the forum.
