Hi everybody,
Since I want to move with my wife (Japanese) to Japan in a few years, I want to move my current career in that direction as well to gain valuable experience before moving. I am currently looking for jobs within Japanese companies where I live, so I want to be as prepared as one can be. Through study, internships and extensive periods of stay in Japan I believe I certainly have a feel for the business culture and etiquette, however there is always more to learn and room to improve. For this reason I would like to read some good books about it.
I am looking for two kinds of books:
- A book with modern Japanese business etiquette and common practices (quite new or recently revised)
- A book that describes the Japanese business world/economy in detail (structure of sogo shoshas, history, important business people like the Donald Trump, Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, etc of Japan)
Does anyone have good recommendations for this?
Thanks in advance!
