Hey!
I've learnt about the particle けど which means "but" .
now I've seen 2 sentences with this particle and I don't understand why is the けど particle used in these sentences.
明日、日本語のクラブがあるけど、行く? (There's Japanese club tomorrow, want to go?)
あのう、一応、私も行くけど?(Um, just in case, I'm going too)

I don't see why "but" is used in this context, wouldn't it be okay if it was like this:
明日、日本語のクラブがある、行く?
あのう、一応、私も行く.

Thanks.

It can be considered that the main clause is omitted after が/けど or it's an inversion. It might express regret, complain, or be used to soften the tone of the sentence.
e.g.
もし私が鳥ならば、君のところへ飛んで行けるのだが(、私は鳥ではないから君のところへ飛んで行けない)。
明日は結構忙しいんだけど(、それでも送らなきゃだめ?)
いや、時間があるときでいいんだが(、できれば送ってほしい)。
あのう、一応、私も行くけど(、知らなかった?)
