Hailing from a country where ski jumping is really big, I'm more than excited that this year a Japanese jumper, Ryouo Kobayashi, has won the biggest annual tournament, the "Four Hills" (Vierschanzentournee) in a grand slam: he won each of the four-day events, a feat that had only been achieved three times before!

Hats off to Kobayashi-san! :)(y)

Interestingly, Kobayashi's victory hasn't made it into the TV morning news yet.

And he did it again: Kobayashi Ryōyū won four out of 5 legs of the prestigious Four Hills Tournament and won the overall title for the second time!

Very happy for Kobayashi-san: Olympic Gold! His female colleague, Takahashi Sara missed bronze. Congratulations! :)
