Hello there everyone.

obs:修哲 、 志水 and 南葛 are soccer teams;

I am a bit lost while trying to comprehend the bolded part. I cant get a grasp on whats the meaning behind "昨年の代表修哲を中心とする南葛" , this usage of を中心 is bugging me.

Any help is appreciated, thank you guys

The story centers round [on] the love of a young man and woman.

A group of right-wing youths was at the center [core] of the movement.

修哲 is the major members of 南葛S.C..

So I should comprehend that "nankatsu soccer club is based/revolves around shuutetsu's players"

That makes sense though I couldnt make sense out of it alone, I'm not used to this pattern involving two nouns of the same nature.

Thank you Toritoribe
