Hi All,
I am reading a news report about 築地市場 relocating.
A market worker says the following.
いちばの人は「安心して食べることができる物をみなさんに届けたいです」と話しています。
when he says安心して does that refer to customer or the worker?
for example in english.
i want to be able to deliver edible food to everyone with peace of mind.
Or does it mean to give peace of mind to the customer that we will deliver ........
よろしくお願いします。

The grouping is as follows: (安心して食べる)こと
"Things that you can eat with peace of mind"

I want to provide customers/everyone with food they can safely eat

Or, to borrow a bit from your translation: food they can eat with peace of mind also works fine. Maybe even better because there is less of a focus on food safety, and more on the mental state of the customer.

Lanthas beat me to it!

thank you,
it's probably pedantic but.... the emphasis is on ensuring customers have peace of mind, not the worker having peace of mind that they are providing safe food to eat.

Just out of curiosity...

Was this a news report written for Japanese learners?

Yes, customers. As Lanthas said, 安心して食べる modifies こと. And this whole phrase 安心して食べることができる modifies 物 which the worker wants to give to everybody.

It probably would have been more clear had they used 食べられる rather than 食べることができる
