The Bank of Fukuoka, Ltd. (株式会社福岡銀行) is a regional bank under the umbrella of Fukuoka Financial Group, headquartered in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka. It was founded as the seventeenth National Bank and was established by integrating the banks in Fukuoka Prefecture through wartime control. At the time it was established, it was the largest local bank. After that, the coal mining industry, which was a key industry of the prefecture, was stagnated, but due to the low non-performing loans ratio and the firmness of the financial base, Fukuoka Financial Group was established, which was mentioned later, and it is still one of the biggest regional banks in Japan.
