Dream Train Internet (DTI, 株式会社ドリーム・トレイン・インターネット) is a telecommunications company providing Internet access services under two brands: "DTI" for individuals and "MeX" for businesses. It was initially owned by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, but on 29 January 2003, it became a subsidiary of Tokyo Telecommunications Network (TTNet, later Powerade.com), a subsidiary of Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO). As KDDI and Powercom merged on January 1, 2006, all shares owned by Powercom were transferred to TEPCO on 31 December 2005, making it a direct subsidiary of TEPCO. As TEPCO downsized its telecom business, the company sold its shares on 25 July 2007 and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Freebit.
