Need stuff to do in Tokyo area
I've been to Japan nearly 2 dozen times now, so it's hard to find something new to do. I've got to go for work again and will be there over the weekend. I'll be north of Tokyo and looking for things off the beaten path (but accessible by rail/bus) to try. I've done all the big things in Tokyo, been to Kasama in Ibaraki to check out pottery, Fukuroda falls, Yokohama, Nikko, Kamakura, baseball games, soccer games, etc. Any suggestions for non-touristy places to go that are gems to the Japanese but unknown to foreigners?

Do you have an interest in traditional Japanese architecture and can't get out of the Tokyo area ? Kawagoe city and particularly Kurazukuri Zone (Traditional Architecture Zone) in Saitama Prefecture is definitely worth a visit.
